Who Am I?
I’m a college student in Graphics Design and I hope to go on to do a university course in College of Graphics Design. That doesn’t mean I don’t draw stuff on paper, I do, just not often. I also own a Nintendo 3DS in Flame Red.
I Live in the United Kingdom and proud of it. I care for my country, and i respect that people will have other opinions. If you attempt to talk to me, i’m normally ok with that. ok? That does mean i’m a bit high strung at times and you can probably find me on My Youtube asking trolls to spell correctly. I also drink lots of Tea and Coffee.
If you are one of my fellow colleages, you may kjnow me as being a bit of a Nintendo nut. I have to confess however, I wasn’t brought up on Nintendo Games in any way. My first experience was a NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) in 2003, back when i was 6 and it was my second console I ever had. The first being the Playstation One. My First Handheld was the Gameboy Colour, and that’s when I fell in love with Nintendo. If Nintendo did anything well, it was Handheld games consoles. That probably explains why the Nintendo DS is the best-selling console ever, overtaking the PS2 by 1 unit in March 2013.
My First Mario Game was the original Super Mario Bros. (in which i completed 700 hours later), then Super Mario 64 (i have yet to complete that), then Mario Kart DS. That also means I owned a Nintendo DS, but for only 6 months. It’s complicated to explain that particular loss. I then moved onto the Wii, then fell in love with Super Mario Galaxy and it’s sequel. It’s such a good game, Gamespot has even put Super Mario Galaxy 2 on it’s 10/10 list (of which there are only 8)
What PC do you own?
A gutted Dell Optiplex GX620 refitted with a much, much newer MSI A88XM-E35 Motherboard, with 6GB of DDR3 RAM and an low-mid range AMD A6 6400k APU (Accelerated Processing Unit). I have a graphics card, but it’s much, much worse than the integrated graphics. The APU acts as both a graphics card (equivalent to a HD 6670) and a Processor. There were once times when Integrated graphics were, let’s be honest here, crap. This really isn’t one of those times.
Windows, Mac or Linux?
I Dual-boot Windows 7 and Linux Mint 17.1, but I use Mac for Photoshop at my college. I use Linux for video editing, and Windows for games that don’t include Indie games and Portal 2. And yes, I have TF2 on my Mint Partition too.
What platform do you for Livestreaming?
Both Windows & Linux, for both Wii Livestreams and PC Gameplay.
I regularly Play Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7 to ease my stress i have the home and i’m normally in a good mood for online races. I even do live races every now and again on Twitch. The newest Game I currently Own is
Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, costing me £29.03 ($45 USD, $56 AUD, €39.47) on Amazon, which is cheaper than Ocarina Of Time 3D…somehow. I also own Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which I ordered off of Amazon for £28 ($42 USD, $46.09 AUD or €33.01 Euro’s), before it moved up to it’s regular £29.99 pricing standard. The only FULL CARTRIDGE game I have (and probably ever will be) downloaded onto my 3DS, is Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins. Despite it’s negative reviews, I kinda like it. Although there are many flaws… .Other apps and games I’ve downloaded include: Colors 3D, SpeedX 3D, Super Mario Bros., Nintendo Video, 90’s Pool (It’s DSi Ware), and Nintendo Zone.
I tend to load hacks onto the Wii others have created so that i can play them. If anyone’s Interested, I use Riivolution 1.04 to load Texture hacks to enhance my experience. Hacks that i have on my SD card are Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, a project that completely redesigns New Super Mario Bros. Wii from the ground up. Within three frustrating days (12 hours in all), i had completed it, but not fully. My next hackpack I reguarly use is the Mario Kart Wii Custom Tracks Grand Prix Pack by Mrbean35000vr, and is considered to be the most used of many in the Custom Tracks community, due to the fact he actually has a relatively popular Youtube Channel. He’s also responsible for the Grandmaster Galaxy’s “Master Quest” Custom Level, of which I have downloaded as well, for Super Mario Galaxy 2, which I have yet to complete. Moving on…
I tend to play on Animal Crossing: New Leaf every day from 10am – 5pm GMT Time. That doesn’t mean i’m on it all day, i’m too busy drawing for that, but it’s still nice to have the game. I am in the current stages of FULLY Completing Luigi’s Mansion 2 / Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. That means i’ve gotta find all the gems, the Boo’s and….that’s it really. My most profound achievement on the game so far is finding a whole mansion’s worth of Gems Without the Internet. Not one.
I’ve Fully Completed ”’New Super Mario Bros. Wii”’, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart 7.
Am I full Of Pointless Facts
Yes, Yes I Am. I collect a factual book series written by Mitchell Symons, who writes fact books with a gross nature as a book title, such as “How Much Poo Does An Elephant Do?” and “Why Do Farts Smell Like Rotten Eggs?”. He releases one every year and i have one more to collect to complete my collection. Kinda.
